Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
This policy explains what Claw Crossing ("the app") collects, why, and who it is shared with. It matches the App Privacy information shown on the app's App Store product page. If you find a difference between the two, treat the App Store page as authoritative and email us so we can fix it.
1. Advertising and attribution
The app is free and supported by advertising. To show ads and to measure whether they work, the app includes software from other companies:
- AppLovin MAX — ad mediation. It selects which ad to show and passes request data to the advertising networks it mediates (currently Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, Pangle, InMobi, Moloco, BidMachine, BigoAds, Chartboost, Fyber, Mintegral and ironSource). Privacy policy: applovin.com/privacy.
- Adjust — install attribution and in-app analytics. It records app launches and a small set of events so we can tell how people found the app and whether advertising is worth the money. Privacy policy: adjust.com/terms/privacy-policy.
Each of those companies handles the data it receives under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information.
2. Data collected and used to track you
"Tracking" means linking this data with data from other companies' apps and websites for advertising or advertising measurement. The following categories are collected, are linked to your identity, and are used to track you:
- Device ID — the advertising identifier (IDFA) and similar device identifiers. Used for third-party advertising, our own advertising, analytics and app functionality.
- Advertising Data — which ads were requested, shown, clicked, and what they earned. Used for third-party advertising, our own advertising and analytics.
- Coarse Location — approximate, city-level location derived from your network connection. The app never asks for or uses precise GPS location. Used for third-party advertising, our own advertising, analytics and app functionality.
- Product Interaction — app launches, screens opened, matches finished and similar in-app events. Used for third-party advertising, our own advertising, analytics and app functionality.
- Performance Data — launch times, load times and similar measurements. Used for third-party advertising, our own advertising, analytics and app functionality.
- User ID — a randomly generated identifier that the advertising and attribution software assigns to this installation. It is not your name, email or Apple ID. Used for third-party advertising, analytics and app functionality.
- Other Data — other technical values an advertising network attaches to an ad request, such as device model, operating system version and language. Used for third-party advertising, our own advertising, analytics and app functionality.
3. Data collected but not used to track you
- Crash Data — crash logs and error reports. Linked to your identity. Used for analytics, app functionality and third-party advertising.
- Other Diagnostic Data — other technical diagnostics. Not linked to your identity.
- Other Usage Data — other usage measurements. Not linked to your identity.
4. App Tracking Transparency
On first launch iOS asks for your permission before the app can track you across other companies' apps and websites.
- If you allow it, the advertising identifier (IDFA) can be used, and the ads you see are more likely to be relevant to you.
- If you decline, the app keeps working exactly the same and you still see ads — they are just less relevant, and advertising measurement is less precise.
- You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
5. What stays on your device
Your settings (music, sound, haptics, preferred difficulty) and your match records (wins, losses and best streak) are written to a single file in the app's own storage area on your device. This data is not part of any category listed above: it is never uploaded, never sent to us, and not readable by the advertising software.
You can clear your match records at any time with Settings → Reset Stats inside the app. Deleting the app removes the file entirely.
6. Children
The app is not directed to children. Because it shows advertising and collects the data described above, we ask that it be used by people old enough to consent to that in their country.
7. Your choices
- Decline the tracking request, or turn tracking off later in iOS Settings.
- Turn off Personalized Ads in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- Clear your on-device match records with Settings → Reset Stats.
- Delete the app to stop all collection.
- Email us to ask what we hold about this installation, or to ask us to delete it. We will need the advertising identifier or the approximate install date to find the records.
8. Changes to this policy
We update this page whenever the app's data practices change — for example when advertising software is added or removed. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
